An initial whitening session will take about an hour and fifteen minutes, sometimes longer and sometimes shorter depending on the individual. A touch up whitening session will be about an hour and a smile hy club session won't take longer than forty-five minutes.

Most of our clients do not experience any post treatment sensitivity. While a few do, it has never lasted more than

a day post whitening treatment. You can lessen your chances of post whitening sensitivity by using a toothpaste or

mouth rinse with fluoride in it. We highly recommend Sensodyne Toothpaste and ACT fluoride mouthwash.

On average, our clients can expect to lighten at least eight shades after an initial whitening treatment. Each

client is different and results are not guaranteed. Of course, the lighter your teeth are when you walk in, the less shades

you will be able to whiten.

This depends of the individual. If you drink a lot of coffee/tea/red-wine etc. then your teeth are naturally going to

darken quicker. We always recommend drinking through a straw and if you are really concerned, then we also have our clients

swish with hydrogen peroxide (yes, the brown bottle you have buried in a cupboard somewhere) a few times a week. This will

not harm you at all, and while it doesn't taste the best- it really does help prevent staining in between cleanings and teeth whitening sessions.

This is never a bad idea! However, if you are in a time crunch (have a wedding, vacation, birthday etc. planned), and won't have

time to get them cleaned before hand then you most likely will still be a good candidate for teeth whitening. If you have not had

a dental cleaning in quite some time and there is visible calculus (tartar) on your teeth, then we will not whiten your teeth until after any deep-cleanings/necessary treatment is completed.
